Audible today announced three new Audible Originals from Emmy-winning actress and host, producer, founder, creator and New York Times bestselling author Keke Palmer, expanding the world of her beloved alter ego Lady Miss Jacqueline. Created by Palmer, Lady Miss Jacqueline launched as a comedy sketch co-created with Max Wyeth as a digital series and quickly amassed over 100 million views across social channels before being featured in Amazon Publishing’s Southern Belle Insults, a collection of five hilarious modern fairy tales. Lady Miss Jaqueline’s universe now expands with three full-length audio-first titles:

Palmer said, "I felt like a has-been at the age of 18—that's not something people expect you to admit, but it's the truth. I had spent years as a child performer, and suddenly I was at a crossroads… The industry wasn't offering me space for who I knew I could be, so I had to build it myself. I turned to digital and started piloting sketch characters, putting them directly in front of audiences and getting data in real time. The audience was telling me something—that there was a place and an appetite for what I was creating. I grew up watching Lucille Ball, Carol Burnett, Whoopi, Eddie Murphy—those true multihyphenate talents were my blueprints. Digital gave me the freedom to finally build my own modern comedy studio, create my own characters and worlds, and reintroduce myself on my own terms. Lady Miss Jacqueline was born of that reinvention and I can't wait for the world to get to know her. Audio is the next chapter of that reinvention. With Audible, Lady Miss isn't constrained by an algorithm or a runtime—she can exist across decades, in space colonies, in megachurches. The audio format gives her the room to be as big and outrageous as she's always been in my head."

Kate Navin, Audible Head of Creative Development for North America, said, "Our collaboration with Keke Palmer has been rooted in creative ambition and a shared belief that audio is the perfect canvas for mold-breaking comedy. Lady Miss Jacqueline is the kind of larger-than-life persona that demands space to breathe, scheme, and deliver devastating one-liners. Keke is building her an entire universe on Audible to do just that. From memoir to multi-cast dramas, these three titles demonstrate why audio storytelling is thriving and why Keke is leading the charge."

Lady Miss is the original diva—the glamorous, scheming, Oscar-winning child star turned global icon who never met a fortune she couldn't amass or an insult she couldn't deliver, all accented by the clap of a fan. Becoming Lady Miss Jacqueline (July 30) finds the possibly-800-year-old icon recounting gold-plated origins, shipwreck survival, and feuds with historical royalty; The Weddings of Lady Miss Jacqueline (August 13) features a multi-cast scripted series spanning six decades of strategic matrimony from 1970s Malibu to 2089 space colonies; and Bereavement Committee (August 27) shows Lady Miss battling a scheming church villain with five dead husbands and an AI conspiracy in a New Orleans megachurch. Across all three titles, Palmer delivers her signature blend of Southern satire, cultural commentary, outrageous comedy, and unforgettable one-liners.

The all-star casts include Sheryl Lee Ralph (Abbot Elementary, Sister Act 2), Danielle Brooks (The Color Purple, Orange Is the New Black), Jenifer Lewis (black-ish, What’s Love Got to Do With It, The Princess and the Frog), Audra McDonald (The Gilded Age, Private Practice), Jackée Harry (Sister Sister), Raven-Symoné (That’s So Raven), Yvette Nicole Brown (Squeezed Podcast, Shape Island) Michelle Buteau (Babes, Survival of the Thickest), and Zachariah Porter.
