Audible today announced Messy Love: Difficult Conversations for Deeper Connection, a new Audible Original launching January 22, 2026, from purpose-driven entrepreneur and former monk Jay Shetty. In Messy Love, Shetty, who has coached individuals and couples around the world, brings his expertise to a public forum for the first time. He guides three couples through the complexities of modern relationships, offering listeners unfiltered access to raw moments of vulnerability and transformation, as well as concrete tools to improve their own relationships. This intimate and unscripted 10-episode series is co-produced by Audible and QCODE.

Messy Love features a diverse range of partnerships, with young parents recently separated after years but hoping to reunite, long-term partners working through issues of power, recognition, and respect, and a loving couple grappling with differing attitudes towards money and conflict—all navigating their unique challenges under Shetty’s guidance. Listeners will witness these couples work through resentment, broken trust, and generational patterns—with no script, no filters, and no certainty of the outcome. Building on the principles shared through his bestselling books and viral talks, Shetty offers tools we can all use to communicate with clarity, break cycles of blame, create emotional safety, and turn daily moments into rituals of appreciation. This isn't about "perfect" love, it's about practiced love, where every interaction can become a doorway to deeper connection.

"In Messy Love, we're embracing the reality that love isn't perfect — it's a practice," said Jay Shetty. "Through my collaboration with Audible, we're inviting listeners into authentic coaching sessions, working through real relationship challenges together. This series goes beyond traditional advice, offering practical tools for deeper connections. My hope is that everyone, regardless of their relationship status, will find insights to create more meaningful bonds in their lives and with themselves.”

Rachel Ghiazza, Chief Content Officer at Audible, said, “In Messy Love, Jay Shetty gives listeners a front-row seat to the real work of love in all its imperfect, raw, and deeply human glory. With his trademark empathy, honesty, and practical wisdom, Jay helps real couples work through real challenges and see themselves – and each other – in new ways. We’re thrilled to add Messy Love and Jay’s enduring insight and compassionate coaching to our growing collection of Original programming that both entertains and enriches our listeners’ lives.”

Messy Love joins Audible's ever-expanding roster of original wellness and relationship-focused content, tapping into the cultural zeitgeist around authentic explorations of modern love and personal growth. The series stands alongside popular titles such as The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins, Self-Conscious with Chrissy Teigen, and Super Attractor with Gabrielle Bernstein. As part of Audible's commitment to producing transformative content from top industry creatives, Messy Love promises to entertain, surprise, and equip listeners with tools for powerful change in their own lives and relationships.
