Creature Feature 84- Washed Up on Shore

  • Summary

  • Welcome to What The Heck's Creature Feature! These episodes release on Saturdays and look at folklore and cryptids from around the world! The same academic style is applied to these episodes, but they look at history and eyewitness reports before describing the creature of the week! A lot of the time, theories are a bit more scarce than the main episodes, but the content is still just as interesting.

This week we're looking at the Montauk Monster. This monster was never seen alive, being discovered as a carcass in 2008. Within 2 weeks, the news became a media sensation, but the women who discovered it and the carcass both mysteriously disappeared. Cryptozoologists were divided, but one began to investigate. Where was the Montauk Monster found? Where did it go? What does an animal research facility have to do with it? Listen in to find out!
