Surefire strategies for transforming anger in yourself and others

In this must-have resource, Dr. Joseph Shrand offers seven innovative yet remarkably uncomplicated strategies to help turn powerful anger impulses into positive, success-oriented actions. These brain-based techniques teach you how to recognize the many forms of anger we all experience, and how to tap into your brain's very own anger absorption zone the prefrontal cortex. Dr. Shrand also explores the ways these techniques can be used to harness the anger of others. When we learn to recognize and defuse the anger response of any individual, we improve our chances for success in every aspect of life.

Good information, but delivery a bit painful

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Lots of theory, not too practical. If you are looking for help, this book takes you on a long journey to what are in the end, some very simple concepts.

Child like performance

The narrative of the Dr was fake. I felt like I'm a child and he's telling me a story. It impacted my ability to listen. The others who were talking normal were much better. The content was not rich and a lot of repetitions.

Interesting if you want everything...

What did you like best about Outsmarting Anger? What did you like least?

It's got a lot of information, case studies and such, but halfway through I stopped.

Would you be willing to try another book from Joseph Shrand, MD and Leigh Devine ? Why or why not?

Only if I needed detailed information. I'm not a Dr.
