The Book of Thoth

According to Egyptian mythology, the Book of Thoth granted unimaginable powers over the heavens, the earth, and the seas. It allowed the reader to control people and animals, resurrect the dead, and even gaze directly into the sun without harm.

When a series of supernatural events begins shaking the world, the Vatican entrusts young priest and brilliant Church investigator Antonio Alviero with uncovering the truth. His findings point to the awakening of a terrifying force known as The Source—a power feared by the Vatican for centuries. To confront it, Father Elias, a mysterious priest both revered and feared within the Church and leader of the secret order Octogonus Circle, is called upon to find and neutralize the threat, assisted by Alviero.

Meanwhile, Adrian Cavendish, a history student at Cambridge, returns home for the holidays only to discover a strange diary left by his recently deceased mother. In its pages, she suggests that his father, Sir William Cavendish, might have survived the mysterious accident that supposedly claimed his life years ago in Cairo. Joined by his adopted stepsister Zulema—who also survived that same incident—and his best friend Eric, Adrian embarks on an investigation that soon entangles them in a dangerous world of occult secrets and supernatural forces.
