The second book in the series didn't fail to keep me wanting to read more. The characters are well defined with a great storyline of an underdog that evolves and "powers up" to support his kind.

I really enjoyed the first Kazro book, and Book 2 absolutely stepped things up. The stakes are way higher now, with a dark god on the rise and Kazro basically starting from scratch after being abandoned by the very god who gave him power. I loved the mix of fast-paced action and emotional depth, Kazro isn’t just grinding levels, he’s wrestling with betrayal, fear, and trying to protect the people he cares about.
