In this week’s episode we gaze into the life of one of the world’s most renowned and talented mediums, the great Edgar Cayce. With thousands of documented reports, witnesses and return clients, Edgar Cayce made a name for himself as a healer who, despite being a simple country boy could merely put himself into a deep sleep, almost as if in a coma and begin uttering the words of a mysterious voice which seemed to know the secrets of medicine, the human body and the universe, dispensing its wisdom to all who would call upon it. In many ways, Edgar Cayce did for psychism what Nikola Tesla did for electricity and his legacy still endures today with a number of his highly accurate predictions still coming to pass. In this episode we discuss his early life as a boy in rural Kentucky and how from an occult perspective he may have attained his gifts. In the extended show we discuss Cayce’s adolescent years as a Bible lover, his experiences with women, getting shot outside a dance hall and the religious experience which pushed Casey from the simple life of a farmer out into the world where he would quickly become a sensation.
