How to be present in difficult times

I wish we could stop saying “Am I going to be the subject of my child’s therapy as an adult? Yes, yes we are. We are imperfect people trying really hard to teach our kids, ourselves how to be better. It’s ok that they will discuss us and need to heal, deal or repair our imperfections and hopefully make themselves better.
