Brull, a family physician in Fort Collins, Colorado, practiced family medicine in rural Kansas for more than 20 years and now serves as vice president of clinical engagement for Aledade, a company that partners with independent primary care physicians to succeed in value-based care.  Asked to offer advice for students, residents and new family physicians, Brull said, “I think that by saying yes early in your career, you built a lot of skills — like, you learn what you like and what you're good at, and you meet people and connect.
