  • On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Jacob Winans(@JacobWinans8) to break down the Panthers' 4-1 loss against the New Jersey Devils at home to end their winning streak at seven. Sam Bennett was a surprise scratch as Jesper Boqvist was inserted into the second line center spot, and Mackie Samoskevich drew back into the lineup. Panthers had the pressure on NJ, even having a 5-on-3 at the end of the first period, which they failed to capitalize while they went to the intermission trailing by one. Panthers did end up scoring on the man advantage in the second period with Sam Reinhart scoring his 12th of the year as the race for the Rocket Richard continues. New Jersey were the better team regarding the Neutral zone as Spencer Knight had a good amount of stops on the evening, but too much to overcome as the Devils put the game out of reach with both Sam Reinhart and Matthew Tkachuk went to the box toward the end of the third period.
