That Greenwich Life

  • Summary

  • Hi, I’m Dorothy Cascerceri Simone, and I’m taking you on a glamorous ride inside one of the bougiest, over-the-top zip codes in the country where I’m peeling back the layers beyond the lavish, luxurious lifestyle of That Greenwich Life. I’ve spent years as a magazine editor and media personality. I’ve interviewed A-listers like Brad and Angelina and talked celebrity news on just about every major TV network. I’ve worked for People magazine, In Touch Weekly and Life & Style, but these days with a new baby and an 8-year-old, I’ve traded in red carpets for the lacrosse field sidelines of Greenwich CT – but make no mistake my shoe collection is not collecting dust. In a town of Bentleys and Birkin bags – I own neither – I’m not apologizing for wearing Forever 21 with my Fendi. Join me each episode for authentic and unfiltered conversations about the real, raw relatable human experiences we all share whether you have 50 dollars or 50 mill in the bank: We’re ALL struggling with something. Those BIG things in your life you wish you could change - the things that make 2am to 6am the hardest and longest part of the day. For me, it was a years-long trauma-filled fertility journey, but for you maybe it’s finding love, your career, your kids, your aging parents, or your marriage. Together, we’ll search for the best in the worst of times, find joy, peace and purpose in the mess, and transform, heal – and dare I say have loads of fun - as we grow. One thing I’ve learned is no matter how fancy or important you think you are, we are all joined on this journey called life. So let’s talk . About your life, my life. Our life. THAT GREENWICH LIFE. • Ep. 24 - News You Can Use + Your Secret Weapon for Brain Fog
    Nov 21 2024

This week, I’m still reflecting on the post-election mood and no matter which way you voted, we have to find a better way to understand one another, even when we disagree, and we have to find a better way to understand the facts.

I’m sharing my go-to resource for staying informed without the drama and false info: Mo News, and I’m joined by Mosheh Oinounou, founder of Mo News and former Emmy, Murrow, and Webby-winning Executive Producer.

As a former journalist, I know how overwhelming news can be, especially when misinformation is everywhere. That’s why I’m excited to highlight tools like Mo News that make it easier to get the facts—and why we all need a little more empathy and a lot less noise in our lives. We’re also talking about how Greenwich schools are tackling kids’ device use and why it matters -- and the new secret weapon for MOM brain – Chat GPT.

Don’t forget to check out Mo News, follow him on instagram @Mosheh, listen to his daily podcast, subscribe to his exclusive content, including more in-depth interviews and grab some Mo News merch. You can also connect with me on Instagram @dorothyonTV and visit dorothyonTV.com for That Greenwich Life merch and more.

  • Ep. 23 - Just Be A Good Neighbor
    Nov 14 2024

The election is over, and whether your candidate won or lost, we ALL have the chance to choose kindness and tolerance toward each other and reject hate every single minute of every single day. It’s not often on this show that I talk about specific things that happen in Greenwich that involve other people – afterall it’s NOT a gossip show even though some would like to hear the juicy dish on this town.

But the stories I’m sharing this week needed to be told in the hopes that it will inspire us all to be a bit more tolerant of each other and leave any sense of entitlement we may have behind – whether you live in Greenwich or anywhere else in this world.

It's easy to be angry and act on that anger – but it’s also easy to be kind, especially when our kids are watching our every move.

  • Ep. 22 - My Night With Diddy
    Nov 7 2024

It’s time to tell the story of how I ended up sharing a private moment – and a drink – with one of the biggest rap moguls in music history one night in the early 2000s. He is now in federal custody after being arrested and charged for multiple crimes including sex trafficking with two dozen other lawsuits filed against him accusing him of drugging, assulting and even raping people.

You don’t want to miss this. In the early days of my career as a celebrity reporter working for People magazine, I was paid to party in New York City, and this is only one of dozens of tales from the vault.
