  • My name is Mike Brady and this is my story.  I'm a dad, husband, and 3 time failed entrepreneur.

    I'm also a lifelong musician, entertainer, and storyteller.  In the last 2 years I've learned to lean into my passions to find fulfillment and uncover what I believe God is calling me to do with my life.

    Today I share my social analytics 19 days into my "content creation at scale" journey with YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok.  I specifically talk about which platforms works best for which type of content, and my own personal dilemma as an artist/ content creator in which I am faced with trying to walk a tight rope between been authentic, but also trending.

    Here's the breakdown of my "FOCUSED CREATOR" 90 Day Challenge

    Daily 1 hour writing  1 gallon water 1 hour exercise 4 reels 4 TikTok’s  4 YouTube Shorts 3 Stories

    Weekly 1 YouTube video 1 live (on YT or IG) 1 complete song demo 1 podcast episode 3 hikes

    Monthly 1 mastered track

    Diet Protein shake daily  Greens daily Magnesium daily Whole fruits/ veggies Meats,  (Protein, fats, carbs)

    Restrictions  -no alcohol -no sugar -no refined carbs -no deep fried foods -no processed food

    I'm using the app "Done" app https://thedoneapp.com/ to track the challenge.  It allowed me to custom build the tasks in the challenge and specify whether they are daily, weekly, or monthly tasks.  It's perfect so far! The app also is part of a bigger bundle that is a complete self care toolkit.  I'm really happy with its user friendliness and interface.

    My songwriting is the first hour of my day when I wake up.  I am using the iPhone "Notes" app in a subfolder I created called "Lyrics"- easy to track and use from both my laptop, and phone.  I'm also using my iPhone 13 Pro Max to take 4K 60fps video (that I can also use for social) to record the song ideas, in addition to using the voice memos app.
