Ned and James have been sitting on a lot of news that's been flying about in the Watford space and sit down to discuss all of it on this bumper special episode!

Udinese's sale, three transfers a week into June, Valon Behrami's return to the club as assistant Sporting Director, as well as who else we're linked with. Where we need to continue to strengthen and their initial thoughts ahead of next season!

Watford FC announced yesterday that The head coach to replace Tom Cleverley was the 42-year-old Uruguayan Paulo Pezzolano, most recently at Real Valladolid.

Ned and James get straight in to their immediate opinions on the appointment, discsussing Pezzolano's impressive CV, as well as deep diving into Valladolid's promotion winning tactics and set up, earmarking a starting XI based on players currently at the club, as well as areas that are in obvious need of improvement!

They then discuss Pezzolano's first words as Watford boss as news breaks during the recording!

There has been lots of movement behind the scenes at the club too, with Hector Kyprianou and Cătălin Cîrjan already being linked with the Golden Boys.

The boys discuss their well founded scepticism with yet another 'Project' manager - asking the question: How long will he be given?

Our final scheduled podcast of the season is the most anticipated of the lot, the squad Keep, Buy, Sell for the 2025/26 season. Ned and James look at the current squad from the players leaving after loans have finished to academy stars on the cusp of the first team. Who will make the cut? who deserves to stay?

They then look at the best XI possible from what's left and work out where there needs to be improvements, before going on to name some players they feel might lead Watford in the right direction!

Ned and James attempt to wrap their heads around the sacking of Watford Manager Tom Cleverley, discussing what happen's next for Watford, does the 'Pozzo Out' movement gather speed off the back of the decision, the very public support from players and fans of Cleverley and the Statements from the club and manager.

The season finally comes to an end after Watford's 1-1 draw with Sheffield Wednesday.

Ned and James discuss the season as a whole and go through our awards and the clubs' awards:

An unsuccessful Easter Weekend for the Golden boys sees them slip to three defeats on the bounce and fall to the foot of the form table since the turn of the year.

Ned and James discuss both Burnley and Portsmouth, were the golden boys hard done by two of the three red cards this weekend? they then discuss some of the positives ahead of the end of the season and where we might be at come the start of the 25/26 season.

A loss away to West Brom all but confirms our Championship status for next season. Ned and James discuss the game with the theme of our season being consistently inconsistent. Leaving it too little too late to score in games and ultimately petering out into losing.

The boys then discuss the starting XI with Vata dropped to the bench and Dwomoh getting his first minutes since Fulham in the FA Cup. Sissoko's rise in form and Caleb Wiley staying for another season?

A 2-1 loss away to Bristol City confirms another season in the Championship for Tom Cleverley's golden boys.

Ned and James discuss a frustrating afternoon filled with individual mistakes as well as some great moments including a first for 18-year-old Doumbia!

The boys discuss James Abankwah after the 21-year-old centre back has been on the end of some negative comments. They discuss the partnership (or lack there of) between Vata and Wiley, as well as losing Baah to injury early on in the game.

They then discuss whether it's time to bring the youth players in and around the squad; Nabizada, Ramirez-Espain, Massiah-Edwards, and Okosun.
