Junglies Series 2

The friends are back in this book. In the second Junglies series, it seems that a very hungry and dangerous visitor has arrived in the jungle. Raff sees the visitor first immediately before he finds Abbit's fur, and he comes to the conclusion that the visitor has eaten Abbit the Rabbit! Raff races to warn the friends about the hungry visitor, but will he make it in time, or is he next on the visitor's menu? This story teaches children about molting and shedding in animals and can be used to introduce children to the topics of endangered species and unity in diversity.

The Junglies find a deserted castle while they wander through the jungle, but they do not want to wait for Jungle Man to arrive before they start. They soon find themselves being haunted! But who is doing the haunting? This story teaches young listeners that they should always seek the advice of an adult before doing something dangerous. This is a good story for Halloween. The Junglies stories are also great for introducing children to the topics of endangered species and unity in diversity.

In this story, Kiki the monkey finds an object in the jungle. He does not know what it is, so he picks it up and starts making his way to Jungle Man, who will be able to tell him what it is. On the way, he has an accident and gets his head stuck in the object. He runs through the jungle trying to find help, but his friends don't recognize him, and think he is a monster.

Jungle Man teaches the friends about how they can blend in with their surroundings, so they can prevent being caught by other animals or poachers. When he has finished teaching the friends, they play hide and seek to see how well they have understood what Jungle Man has taught them. Which one of the Junglies will apply what he has learned the best?

The Junglies take a train ride to the beach with their friend Jungle Man. As usual, there is never a dull moment with the Junglies, and soon the train is out of control on a one-way track to disaster! Each Junglies story introduces children to the topic of endangered species, as each species of animal represented by a character has at least one subspecies which is endangered. The theme of unity in diversity is also introduced to children, as the animals are best friends despite being different.

The Junglies made it to the beach after they managed to stop their runaway train. They soon meet a mermaid and help her find an item she has lost. To show her appreciation, she gives each of them a wish, but the wish will only come true if it does good for others as well as themselves. One by one, they make a wish, but none of their wishes come true. Eventually, there is only one wish left. Will they finally realize how to make a wish that helps others, or will they be stuck on the beach forever?
