Audible for Business Brings Bulk Audiobooks to Workplaces and Beyond

Audible is bringing the transformative power of audio storytelling to the workplace with the launch of Audible for Business, a new offering that makes it simpler than ever for companies, event organizers, authors, publishers and more to get incredible audio content into the hands of many listeners at once.
Audible for Business enables organizations to provide employees, clients, members and event attendees with access to more than one million audiobooks and Audible Originals, turning our catalog into a resource that can be built into everything from onboarding programs to client gifting to employee recognition. Audible for Business also gives publishers and authors a way to distribute their own audiobooks in bulk, whether for book tours, launch events or marketing campaigns.
The program offers multiple ways for organizations to engage, including:
Bulk individual title purchases, distributed via digital redemption codes for one or more audiobooks. Organizations choose specific titles to distribute for any purpose, such as a thank-you gift or company-wide training.
Bulk memberships, a recurring option that lets organizations easily provide ongoing access to Audible's full catalog as a standing employee benefit or professional development resource. Bulk memberships will roll out gradually, beginning this week.
Bulk purchasing of Audible content is powered by Amazon Business, where organizations can browse, purchase, and receive digital redemption codes to share directly with audiences, employees, customers and more, with no shipping and no inventory to manage.
Audible for Business offers a more personal and flexible approach to learning that fits into employees’ commutes, workouts, and daily routines. Organizations can curate audio selections across topics like leadership, business strategy, artificial intelligence, wellness, and personal development. Audiobook buying guides and additional resources are also in development to help organizations choose the right titles and build shared listening experiences.
Audible’s Chief People Officer, Anne Erni, reports that audio content has long supplemented Audible’s own employee engagement and development programs. “When a manager finishes a training or an employee leaves an all-hands meeting, the gift of an audiobook or suggestions for specific titles can help reinforce key learnings while encouraging them to explore a topic more deeply,” she explains. “We’re excited that Audible for Business will make it simpler for any organization to embed the benefits of audio storytelling and create more engaging employee experiences.”
In fact, audiobooks are currently playing a real role in how Audible’s teams build AI fluency. Within our Gen AI Learning Hub for employees, Audible has recommended titles like Co-Intelligence, by Ethan Mollick, and The AI-Driven Leader, by Geoff Woods, encouraging employees to develop their own perspectives on how AI can enhance their work.
Conference organizers and event producers can also use Audible for Business to give attendees audiobooks that keep the learnings alive long after the event ends. Audible for Business offers physical cards for in-person distribution, with QR codes that people can scan to access an audiobook in a few simple steps. For keynote speakers with published audiobooks, it’s a natural way to put their title directly into attendees’ hands.
The offering, currently rolling out in the U.S. with plans to expand globally, is designed to work for organizations of virtually any size, from small teams looking for a simple way to support employee growth, to enterprise-wide programs spanning thousands of employees across multiple locations.
