Alice Crowley’s books are comical, to say the least. Be careful not to drink anything while you’re listening or you might end up cleaning a bunch of spray. Sexually explicit and relatively shallow (short story and all), she does a nice job of giving you just enough of the flavor of the characters to make them enjoyable. The AI reader is perfect too, because it narrates sex scenes like a coffee shop conversation. I love how she gradually reveals the fantastical world she’s created throughout the story instead of just dumping all the info at the outset. This is my favorite of her farcical stories so far. Fun, fun!
