 Appearing in front of their own graves, one cold and still night, was not in the cards for Cole and Jewel. Lovers before their death, they wonder who could have possibly killed them in the small city of Vik, Iceland. While Jewel yearns for answers, Cole preoccupies herself with keeping Jewel close. When Cole's flesh begins to peel, inciting her ghostly form to begin to rot, they realize there must be more to their demise than they thought.

Out of nowhere, Cole begins to act out towards humans and cause them pain in ways that shock Jewel. As Jewel begins to pull away from Cole, Cole's sense of urgency to keep Jewel in the dark of what happened the day they died increases.
