From the author of the #1 New York Times best seller Wait for You

Do Teresa and Jase have a real shot at getting together or will life get in the way?

Teresa Hamilton is having a rough year - she's in love with her big brother's best friend, but he hasn't spoken to her since they shared a truly amazing, mind-blowing, life-changing kiss. Then she got out of a terrible relationship. Now an injury is threatening to end her dance career for good. It's time for plan B: college. And maybe she'll have a chance to convince Jase that what they have together is real.

Jase Winstead has a huge secret that he's not telling anyone - especially not his best friend's incredibly beautiful sister. Even though he and Teresa shared the hottest kiss of his life, he knows that his responsibilities must take priority. He certainly doesn't have time for a relationship. But it doesn't help that all he can think about is kissing the one girl who could ruin everything for him.

As they're thrown together more and more, Jase and Teresa can't keep denying their feelings for each other. But a familiar danger looms and tragedy strikes. As the campus recovers, the star-crossed couple must decide what they're willing to risk to be together and what they're willing to lose if they're not…

Awesome

I love all Jennifer's books. I just hate that Tess was sooo immature or a drama queen maybe. At times I can take Tess and slap her, and scream "Think Tessa"

sexy and touching

i must say Jase is my least favorite of all hot guys from this series. i like and disliked him at the same time. he is such a jerk sometimes, hot then cold, yes then no, wants her then doesnt. wth man, get a grip! i dont think i would give him a 4th chance if i were tess.. but. in any case, their story is really intense and sexy, the narrator does a pretty good job as well.

Cute love story

Performance made the book I love Sophie Eastlake. This series is so far cute, a little bit juvenile definitely a good story for younger adults might be too juvenile for 30+ maybe even younger... but I still think it's cute ;)

4.5 Be with Me Stars

I am a huge Cam fan so I am always measuring all other hero’s to him. P.S. Cam is book one of this series.

Teresa is Cam’s younger sister, and Jace is Cam’s friend. So already you know there is going to be some drama. But a lot less then you would expect thank goodness for that. I am all about tension in a book but not to the extent that you want to shut the book and thankfully this was just enough.

Teresa is going through a hard time; she is injured and not sure if she can dance again. Her past relationship was terrible and she is still healing from that. But Jace is irresistible and charming and downright yummy Teresa can’t help herself.

Jace is also reeling from a past relationship so he is on tender hooks; he wants more than just a hook up. But he is afraid to put himself out there again. His pain is still real to him.
Together they are stronger then when they are apart.

Teresa has to learn to trust and Jace has to trust back. It’s hard lesson but they both learn it. I loved the dynamic between them there wit is pretty awesome. I found myself smiling a lot.

Again I love the narration because it’s Sophie Eastlake and she is a favorite of mine. So I think she does a fabulous job.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

Angst Lover

If you could sum up Be with Me in three words, what would they be?

Oh My Gosh

Who was your favorite character and why?

Tess. She is so troubled yet she stays so strong

What about Sophie Eastlake’s performance did you like?

As always she did an amazing job!!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I cried and laughed and almost screamed a few times!

Any additional comments?

Every aspect of this story was engaging; from the lovable characters to the quirky dialogue and fell in love with this story! I love how I still got to see how Avery and Cam were doing in this book. It was like seeing old friends!
This time we get to know Jase and Tess’s story. Teresa aka Tess is Cam’s little sister and Jase is his best friend. We briefly met them in Book 1 Wait for You. IMO this book is not as amazing as the first book. Be With Me is filled with heavy drama and lots of emotions. That’s not a bad thing but I really loved the first book. But anyways back to this books review. Jase has had the hots for his best friend’s sister Teresa and her for him for a while. One day when Teresa was 16, they shared an accidental kiss the changed everything for them as the tension between them grew and has become more intense as the years have gone by. Now Tess is 18 and is trying to move on from her experience with her abusive ex-boyfriend and an injury that has put her dance dreams on hold. If you are a dancer you completely get this, if you are not a dancer, the way this story is written you feel it! I love how it wraps itself around your heart and squeezes. So Tess had to come up with a backup plan, this included going to the same college as Cam and Jase until her leg is healed. And of course they end up having a class together so they have to be near each other.
But Jase has a big secret that he uses to keep away from meaningful relationships and the only girl to ever make him question this happens to be his best friends little sister. He tried to stay away but he just couldn’t. They have amazing chemistry and Jase didn’t want his secret to ruin him and Tess. But if it didn’t he was scared of what would happen then. Tess loved him dearly and would have done anything for him but he was so wishi washi!!
Then tragedy happened to a close friend of Tess’s. I will not say as it will ruin everything. But it turns up the intense factor with another character no one likes and sometimes tragedy or near tragedy is what it takes to make you see what is really important. And FINALLY Jase saw how stupid his actions had been. And you finally get the awaited JLA sexy scene, which she is amazing at btw! If you’ve read her books you know! She has a way of making them super hot but not overdone and fake. They are real moments and the way she builds up the whole story before you can get that is amazing!
This story ended beautifully. I can’t wait who we get to see in the next book! I appreciate getting to still see whats going on in the previous books characters too!

Kisses That Drug The Mind

Well when they say young adult they mean dialogue for 20-22 year olds. Wow I had no idea what this would entail! Because I purchase by narrator and I love Sophie East Lake a.k.a. Julia Whelan, 2014 voices for males and kids, I took a chance on this author and this series. Well based on the samples I didn't think it would be too bad but these are not romances for mature women. These are romances for the age group I mentioned as the scenarios are in that age range. so if you want to know what your kids or grandkids go through, think then this series is for you. Where are my comments of help?

🧁 Cupcakelicious 🧁

I actually enjoyed this story more than the 1st in the series. I loved Teresa and Jase; they were so sweet together, and they had me cracking up in the beginning. The pull between them was visible.
Nice to see a strong heroine.
There are a couple of triggers, but overall, I felt everything was addressed and wrapped up nicely.
My 1 question: Where are the epilogues?
As always, Sophie Eastlake did a fantastic job narrating. 👏🏽
