Publisher's summary

You've seen him strutting across the green, knowing full well every eye is on him. College guys are the stuff of fantasies but there are those who rise to the head of the class, the "big man on campus" who is like a greek god with his bulging biceps, six pack abs, and legs that go on for miles. These dreamy hunks stride across campus, inciting lust with every step. Whether showering off after soccer, posing in the library stacks, or engaging in some male bonding at the fraternity house, these gorgeous lads and grads are good for arousing action.

An enticingly explicit collection of gay erotica, Big Man on Campus explores the first lust for another boy, all-night study sessions with a classmate, and the excitement of a student hot for teacher. This steamy collection relishes the joys of self-discovery and the revelations that happen when a young man has the freedom to pursue his interests - in bed and out. From coming out to falling in love, these stories of sexual awakening will evoke trembling, heart-pounding, sweaty-palmed excitement. The editor himself gets the frat party started with a true confession of his own campus encounter.

this narrator is awful.

What would have made Big Man on Campus better?

a young narrator that knows how to actually pronounce words... roy needs to retire... college stories read to me by my grandfather.. YUK. his frequent mispronunciations of common words is maddening!

What could Shane Allison have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

found a young, well read narrator. he is anything but "fresh"

What didn’t you like about Roy Wells’s performance?

I dont want my grampa reading "fresh, gay erotica" to me find a younger narrator

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I didnt even finish it, the narrator just grated on my nerves too completely

Wrong pairing

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

If you had picked a better narrator. This book is about college students, and you have narrator that sounds like a middle aged man doing the narration. I just could not get into it, it sounded wrong. You should have had the same narrator that did college boys do this one.

Would you ever listen to anything by Shane Allison again?

I love Shane Allison, it was not the book, it was the narrator that killed this book. If you want better reviews, redo this book with a new narrator.

What didn’t you like about Roy Wells’s performance?

I do not personally like Roy Wells narration because he is a little to stiff for my liking, but in this case he sounded too old for the characters he was trying to portray.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

The book was fine, I just hated the narration.

Any additional comments?

I feel as though as this format grows, authors and narrators need to not be looking for someone who can read out loud, but someone who can sell your story. Even in erotica there should be some standard.
