Publisher's summary

After becoming possessed by the vampire spirit Gray, telekinetic Caleb Jansen thought his situation couldn't get any worse. But that was before Graham Forsyth, head of SPECTR's sinister Research Division, took him into custody.

Forsyth claims he can exorcise Gray before the forty-day time limit runs out. But once at RD, Caleb and Gray find themselves ensnared in a web of lies. What is the truth behind the tests Forsyth is performing on them? What does the agency really plan to do with Gray? And most worrisome of all, why does Gray sense demons within the walls of RD's compound?

Caleb's boyfriend, SPECTR agent John Starkweather, has suspicions of his own. With the help of his friend Sean and a shadowy organization known only by their symbol of a moth, John intends to save Caleb and Gray at any cost.

But when divided loyalties threaten his last chance at exorcism, Caleb discovers love may come at a price higher than he'd ever imagined.

My Favorite So Far!

Any additional comments?

OMG! The betrayal, the heartache, the love, all of it was just perfect! This is my favorite story in this series. And, I actually don't hate Tiffany as much as I did in the previous book.lol Awesome edition to the series.

Best Yet!

This was the best book yet and it was ALL because of Gray! JK Seriously, this book has shown the evolution between Caleb and Gray and the build of emotions between Gray and Starkweather.

In this book battle lines are drawn, and enemies pose as friends while those thought to be enemies turn out to be the day's savior.

Story, narration, characters, everything...EXCELLENT!

Next book Please! 💖

My favorite book yet!

I wasn't sure about the Spectr story starting the first book, but I was soon hooked and now I can't wait to see what happens next. I love how the main characters love is evolving through the series, and the storyline keeps you on your toes the whole time.
There is something about Grey that is just so beautiful and irresistible.

Destroyer of Worlds will definitely have your heart racing and mind spinning. It’s fast paced and things are tenser than ever. Caleb/Gray have been taken into SPECTR custody, and unknown holding place where they perform test after test. The deadline for the exorcism is only days away and everyone is on edge. But things are not as they seem and SPECTR are keeping secrets from them – the least being that the holding place contained many, many demons. Not to mention the sinister warning note they found in their living quarters; they were in grave danger and SPECTR were never going to let them go.

There is a sinister feeling in the air throughout the book. There are many revelations, betrayals and decisions. I would say this book is more emotional than the previous ones for many reasons, how could it not with everything that happened. I think we went through the whole spectrum of feelings. It was a rollercoaster beginning to end – in the very best way.

In this book we, or rather our main characters, finally deal with the elephant in the room; Gray and their growing feelings for the vampire spirit. Both John and Caleb avoided talking about him for so long, about what would happen to Gray once exorcised from Caleb. It created a distance and uncertainty. But then again, I’m also wondering about how much strain this kind of new – and strange – relationship could take. How much could you ask of it that they weren’t already?

Brad Langer once again performed this book to perfection. I love the intensity of his narration. I’m also enjoying his gruff vice. He totally broke me when Gray asked that John’s eyes would be the last colour he’d see. It was so heartbreaking that I lack the words to describe it. I mean here is this thousands of years old vampire spirits that’s seen and done countless of things, and the last thing he wanted to see was the colour of John’s eyes… It was powerful and moving, and I credit Langer for giving the listener those feelings.

I think this book might be my favourite yet, I think I said that about the last one too, but come on they keep getting better and better. And that’s saying something. The future is still uncertain, there’s a lot to clear up and it will be interesting to know what happens next in this world.
