This taboo romance is the first of the series and is chock full of quick development and hot sex. "Uncle" Grant, CIA agent, comes home and takes his niece, Nikki out for her 19th birthday. What starts out as an innocent night quickly changes, lots of heat, and lots of sex. The story has a definite end to it, but does leave you wanting to see where the relationship between a grant and Nikki is going to evolve to. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Rose Lane gives a passionate performance. Her voice is warm with rich tones and has the emotion necessary to let you know that while there is chemistry between the characters, that there is real feelings and a strong connection too.

Forbidden by Terry Towers was a good quick read. Nikki has always lusted after her adopted uncle Grant. This year she turns nineteen and he has a special birthday planned for her although it doesn't go the way he thought. This was a good read.
