Zodiac Academy meets Kingdom of the Wicked.

The Seven Deadly Sins want to come out to play....

Salem and Skye are two freshman roommates at Kildale Academy, when a fire destroys their dorm room. Left with no other options, they are forced to move into the only rooms available—which just happens to be at the fraternity known as Hell House.

Little do they know their new housemates have been possessed by the Seven Deadly Sins, and they're in the mood for something downright sinful.

Join Salem and Skye at Hell House for a bit of chaos, a bunch of steamy scenes, and a touch of danger.

Warning: This is a dark romance with explicit scenes intended for an 18+ audience. TW (Please read the author's note at the beginning of the book.)

So good!!

I absolutely loved this!! The audio was so good. This is a dark romance, why choose. Each character was so well developed. A fire starts in Salem and Sky's dorm room which causes them to evacuate. There is no other place available for them to relocate except for one...Hell House. It's the fraternity house that is residence to the seven boys that have been consumed by the seven deadly sins. There is some twists in the plot and that cliffy...wow!! Definitely a must read or listen.

Thank you Dakota for the alc. This review is my own.

Holy cliffhanger

Holy cliffhanger!

I love when a book invades your entire being that you can’t stop listening. Dakota’s story was riveting and made me anxious to know what comes next.

Nikki Grey’s narration was flawless. Her ability to do two characters was seamless. I had no problem differentiating between them.

Nowhere was a harder sell for me. I wasn’t sure if it was the accents or the inflections, but some of the characters voices took me out of the story for a minute. You could tell when he got more comfortable towards the end of the story and sank into the feeling instead of preforming. I will be interested to see how it goes with more books.

I can’t wait to read the rest of this series and find out how these boys grapple with the sins they were condemned to live with and how the girls they love will stand with them.

AMAZING

Dakota truly k**led this story!! I have never read a dynamic like this with two harems evolving and all of the guys just falling into place. It just WORKED. The tension between some was delicious and the spice we got just phenomenal!!! Such a unique story that you won’t regret diving into!

I’ll happily return to Kildale Academy

I was provided an ALC of this title from the author for free and am leaving this review voluntarily. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I know that I’m profoundly late to this bandwagon, but I am SO HAPPY to finally be here. I wanted to read this book since first joining the online bookish community, so I was thrilled at the opportunity to receive an advanced listener copy of the audiobook!

It always gives me a little bit of extra joy when I come across a concept I haven’t yet had the joy of reading, and the seven deadly sins concept was very much one of those pleasant surprises for me!

That said, there are (obviously) quite a lot of characters that are pretty often mentioned, which I think the narrators did a fantastic job of, but it can feel like a lot to explore, so I am eager to continue with this series and see where the further books take them!

I will happily return to Kildale Academy.

OBSESSED

FIRST of all - Dakota picked great narrators, they complimented each other so well!

SECOND and MOST important this book has consumed me wholely! Ha.

I get SO excited when I see books/series based on the seven sins in some way.
I find it so fascinating and I love seeing how an author will put their own twist/spin on it.
Dakota did not disappoint!
The story follows seven frat boys and two college girls.
The frat boys have been possessed by the seven sins and (some) are trying to find ways to get the sins out.
Enter Skye and Salem, both new to Kildale Academy who become fast friends and find themselves wrapped up in the frat boys complicated lives by mistake (or is it?)
It's fascinating to watch this story unfold and the end of this one immediately had me picking up book two!
I love the touch of having the sin correlate with their first names as well.
It really helped me remember names and personalities quickly so I could stay on track with the plot.

I think of this as a double why choose romance.
Please check your triggers, but know the tension and eventual spice is REAL nice!

I've recommended this series to several friends who have loved it just as much!
What are you waiting for? ;)

Why Choose, Spooky Vibes, and a Cliffhanger…oh my

I absolutely loved listening to this book 🖤

I’ve had the book on my TBR since its release. So for part of the listen I did pair it with the book to get the best of both worlds. I do have to say I preferred the audiobook more. It amplified everything that was going on. I didn’t want to stop listening.

The narrators do an amazing job bringing all the different characters to life. They gave them each their own individual voice and personality. Just by listening I knew which character’s POV it was. I found myself swept up in the emotions a few times (ranging from ills being nervous, fearful, having the chills to feeling a little hot 😉🥵).

This was a spooky, dark, fun, paranormal, witchy, why choose, spicy, tension filled adventure. There’s quite a bit going on in this book from found family vibes, forced proximity, enemies to lovers tension, and lots of secrets.

I wouldn’t normally use spooky, dark, and fun in the same sentence but I feel like it really explains this one. It definitely gave me some spooky vibes and it has some darker themes/undertones but it wasn’t something that would keep me up at night either.

There are several characters and I felt like each one was their own person. Along with multiple characters there are several different relationship dynamics and they all were moving at its own pace. They also felt natural individually and collectively.

By the end my heart was twisted, I had more questions then answers, and was wondering who could be trusted. Be warned is part of a trilogy so there is a cliffhanger ending.

Storyline was interesting

I haven’t read a story that had a plot like this, and I really thought it was an interesting take on the seven deadly sins! Each MMC and supporting MC pulled off their sin well, and I loved how the FMCs were brought in! The cliffhanger was heart wrenching and can’t wait to listen to the next!

🔥🔥🔥

5/5⭐️
3/5🌶️

I love this concept of the 7 deadly sins possessing these deliciously hot guys. I think for the most part the guys and Skye and Salems characters are developed well minus Garrison. I don’t feel like we know much about him. I cannot wait to see what Queens of Hell House being. Hopefully some more amazing BA Skye and Salem!

I listened to this as an audio book and let me tell you! The way these narrators tell this story is absolutely amazing! The male narrator will make your knees go weak that’s for dang sure! If you haven’t read hell house this is your sign to listen to the audio book because you will not be disappointed!

Yessssss!!!!

I absolutely loved this book in audio as much as I did the first time I read it on my kindle. I am amazed by these narrators honestly. Narrating 7 characters can be extremely challenging but he did a fantastic job. Plus duet narration is my favorite type of audio to listen to!
This is considered a dark why choose story so please check triggers if you are someone that needs them. Otherwise, buckle up for a wild ride of the 7 deadly sins 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.

Great story

Excellent story- taking off one star for the horrendous southern accent for Emmett. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂. Other than that, no complaints. On to book two!
