Marvelous
Great book, kept my attention all the way to the end, amazing audio delivery, loved it. Will be reading again, every chapter was received amazingly do recommend you give it a read.

Just 🤯
I came for the smut and was pleasantly surprised. it was very sweet and romantic In a very perverted way. don't let the cover fool ya like it did me. it sat in my TBR list for ever till I gave it a try and regret not getting to it sooner. I loved it!! 😍 at first I was a little annoyed with the narrator but he grew on me. great job. can't wait to check out more from the author and the narrator.

Yes ….but
Possible spoilers
Don’t get me wrong. I liked A LOT of this story, but one thing that really bothers me in the consensual portion that is lacking. A REAL dominant should know that safe, sane and CONSENSUAL is a huge portion. Even if someone is a slave, they should know and understand what they are signing up for. I’m all for CNC but this story was on the premise of someone *nearly* vanilla being pulled into a BDSM slave situation. Yes, he signed a contract, but he did not understand fully what he was signing. While he did, eventually, find that he loved and craved this type of relationship, it doesn’t make it right. It gnawed at me while listening and ruined my enjoyment.

OMG WHAT A BOOK! I HAD TO CALL OUT THE NEXT DAY!
This book was fantastic! I can’t stop thinking about it!!! It hit so many emotions and had good humor! At its core it’s about what someone would do to be loved and feel loved, which I think most people can relate to. The main character Alex goes way beyond his sexual comfort zone to please his ‘Master’ because he loves him. In his attempt to do so, Alex ends up feeling like he’s losing more than himself —he’s losing his soul. Alex falls into depression as he struggles with the mental, physical, and sexual abuse he’s incurred, trying to decide if he matters. The deeper plot and sexual exploits are well-written and weaved in a way that really pulls you in. The narrator brings the story to life superbly. I got this thinking I’d listen to a chapter a night and ended up canceling my workday the following day to finish listening! That’s how good it was! This book is a must! I know I will be listening to it again! Thank you K. Matthews and Kirk Westmen!
