Ivory Obsession is Book One in The Dark Mafia Prince of New York Series and ends in a cliffhanger. This amazing story is about Jade, a brilliant neuroscientist and Dante, a mafia prince intent on ruling. Dante sees a future for his family with BioTech Science but he is entranced by Jade. Will these two survive together? There is a lot of action, suspense, intrigue, betrayal, hot steamy sex and possibly love in this book. Listen to this fantastic audiobook but beware of the cliffhanger. The duet narration by Michael Knight and Sadie Provost was absolutely marvellous.

This author is new to me as well as the narrators.

Spoiler alert, this ends in a cliffhanger. I usually prefer standalones but i wanted to check out the author and narrators. This has a good plot as well as good smut. I'm picky when it comes to male narrators and thankfully, Michael Knight has a great voice. Sadie, the female narrator also has a great voice. They did a great job and they can only get better from here. I can't wait for the next installment.

Beautifully written and stunningly narrated “Ivory Obsession” delivers the heat, the feels, the emotion and an absolutely amazing listening experience! The writing is glorious, the story flows so smoothly, that time passes seamlessly while listening! There are no holes, no gaps, no inconsistencies, and NO wandering of my attention! I was completely “in” the moment with the story and with these beautifully defined characters at all times! The duet narration was truly SPECTACULAR! I felt like I was listening to actual conversations and eavesdropping on real people uh … getting busy and doing what real people do! From start to finish, it was flawless, fantastic perfection! I LOVED everything about the HAWT, brilliantly conceived and beautifully performed “Ivory Obsession”! Five stupendous stars!

Alright, so there was definitely a lot to enjoy about this book! The story had a smart, accomplished woman and an intense bad boy connecting—a combo that’s usually a win for me. The plot was solid, and the chemistry between the characters was done well.

That said, the deceit really got under my skin. I mean, it really bugged me, and it made it hard to fully enjoy the ride. Plus, the story doesn’t wrap up neatly—it’s more of a “to be continued...” situation, with loose ends hanging. Why? Why? Why? That’s not my favorite, but hey, maybe I’ll stick around for book two. Guess that’s my personal cliffhanger, haha.

The narrators did a decent job overall. I just wish the male voice had more of that gritty, mafia edge—a little more "rough and ready" vibe instead of sounding like he might be too good to get his hands dirty. Don’t get me wrong, his voice was nice, just not quite as dangerous sounding as I wanted from a Mafia romance. Oh, and “Capo” was mispronounced. I mean, come on, it’s a mafia book! Little details like that matter. Still, an enjoyable listen overall!

I liked the story the author wrote, and the narrators did a good job overall.

Ivory Obsession by Clarissa Bright is a dark mafia romance. Michael Knight and Sadie Provost bring the characters to life with their voices. The story is entertaining, interesting, funny, romantic, and enjoyable. The mafia prince is obsessed with a brilliant scientist who does it have a clue he exists. Will the mafia prince get what he wants or will she get away? Will their relationship work out? Will he have to destroy everything she worked hard to build to get what he wants? That is all of her body, mind and soul. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.would recommend

Dante and Jade was enthralling. I love the way his possessiveness over Jade is. As they try to change the organization with some twist and turns ahead. Can’t wait for more by this author. I love the narrators voice. He’s gives you all the vibes.

The simple plan of a powerful mafia boss's son to gain more power turns dangerous and deadly for Jade the woman he becomes involved with providing some very steamy scenes while at the same time Dante strives to keep her safe. This is page turning suspense at its best. Clarissa Bright is an awesome author who always has a winner. Followed by an awesome narrative team, Micheal Knight and Sadie Provost who bring the story to life. You can't go wrong with this book. It will leave you breathless and wanting more.
