I absolutely love this book!!! One of my favorites. I have been so excited for this audio to come out. I was kind of disappointed because I wanted Malachi to sound as unhinged as he is written but other than that I thought it was done well.

Unhinged!

Great narrators and loved this cast really brought the book to life. Recommend reading Edge of Darkness trilogy first

I really warmed up to Malachi in this book. Learning his POV really opened up my eyes to a lot of the scenes. There were some parts that really broke my heart for him. The ending couldn’t have been a better outcome for me. It did throw me off it’s not the same voice actor but it still was a great job!

I loved learning Malachis POV about things. Good for a tandem read.

The re cap in the beginning for 2 hours made me alil worried it was the whole audio book but then it got into the main story. I liked it, some of the characters almost had a butcher and blackbird feel. And Malachi’s childhood story was so sad poor baby 🥹

Love this series

Book 1 really did it for me. The narration and the story really was everything. This was decent. The passion wasn’t the same and the story line also wasn’t my favorite but I did enjoy the outcome. I think I just really didn’t care for hearing about all the trauma at the beginning. We already knew why he was the way he was, but I did appreciate the insight on how his dad actually treated him. It definitely made me think about poppa Vise in a different way. Overall it was a good duet, and I will be keeping book 1 in my rotation!

It was nice.
