I am not normally big on romantic story lines, but I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful book. Breaking stereotypes is putting it mildly when Lucifer discovers that the mother of a prophesized child has been unable to conceive and deserted by an unsympathetic husband. She is coming apart at the seams.
Lucifer pulls out the big gun and sends the demon of lust himself to seduce her and move things along.
Demons may have been underrated when it comes to feelings and attachments - but will that help or hurt. And what about that walk-out husband? Has he actually given up? Can he actually give up - and if not, how will he stack up against the demon of lust himself?
Read one page and you'll be hooked too.

recieved this as an audiobook free and my review is voluntary. This book had me hooked right away and i couldnt put this book down. It is such a great story and an emotional rollercoaster.

I LOVED this book!! It was an excellent story and the audio book was very well done. I'm not a huge fan of Devin though, which is weird because I totally have a thing for bad boys. I don't know, I just thought Xander and Andy were way more interesting than Devin. But I'm OK with it, I still totally loved this book (the prequel novella was excellent too!). I may have also cried a tiny bit when Andrew was talking to his mother. (It must be PMS..I'm not normally such a mush!). The narration was also perfect! I really enjoyed listening to this book. I would LOVE to listen/review the next books in the series.

I loved this story. It wasn't even the characters. The story just resonated with me on a deeper level. There we some parts that were a tad cheesy, but that's okay. The relationship between the two lead characters really touched me. I am glad I found this author.

I fell hard for this book

When I say Christian, I don't mean a progressive view of the religion. It is a story about "sin" from the Christian view. The story is set within the Christian mythos of a 2nd coming, Jesus as Christ, and the battle of good and evil. Particular scripture, by verse #, isn't espoused, but the ideas and conservative interpretations of the Christian bible structure this story. Intertwined are sex scenes due to the demon of lust with a little detail but vague, understated terms for sex-related aspects with the exception of f**k.
Of course, the solution is manifest through extreme supernatural means and not what most folk have to face, deal with, to overcome life's problems. And, as usual, "blackness" is the descriptor for evil. It's all, pitifully, the same-old-same-old.
The story goes round and round. I was very incredulous about them being able to keep a job during an extensive absence and "satan" being unaware of what goes on in "satan's" realm. I won't say more in order to not give more away. Essentially, it seemed quite implausible.
