About this listen

Mountain Men:
Peter and Jonathan Jackson were born as shifters in the wild hundreds of years ago. Peter has always lived wild, but Jackson was raised in Louisiana and was apprenticed as an accountant. They met out west during one of Peter’s heats around 1893. Very quickly Jackson discovers that Peter wants to join him living as a human couple. Peter becomes Petra and they quickly invest in land, and dresses for Peter. They get married as husband and wife and become farmers and ranchers.

By the Roaring Twenties, they are roaring members of the . . . Sonoman community who know how to party hearty and play among San Francisco society. This doesn’t all change as they create a family, a home, and even lose a son to war.

Jackson goes to all the wars, until he learns while he’s in Vietnam that Petra has reverted to being Peter. He’s left the family homestead and is living in San Francisco, working as an LPN and training to become an RN.

This is when everything changes for the Jacksons . . . clear up through the decades until they decide to become hermits by buying the second lot sold in Cutlas Estates. They’ve spent decades overcoming hardships, while enjoying few fun times and many hurtful times in American history. It’s time they joined an MC group and turn the businesses they built over to their kids.

Now they have new things to discover, like technology and a different kind of family.

Angelic Little:
Rich is a writer and goes on many book tours on a book about his life growing up as a child prostitute and how he overcame it all. He’s under contract for book two and just can’t get it written. This is when he meets Adam.

Adam considers himself the laziest sort of businessman. He decided a young age he was never going to work for another person or company, so he set himself up in an international gift business that started out as a love letter writing business in college. But he’s bored with it, and still holding onto it like a lifeboat. It’s time for some changes.

Enter Rich, a little lost boy, a dark angel who needs his help. They’re both at a crossroad and whether they actually succeed at helping each other is often up in the air. Both have flight tendencies, so it’s not always a match made in heaven. Unless you count the fae who’ve brought them together and count the times when they're completely in heaven. Will they actually come together or learn to live without each other?

Mature themes.
