Once I sped the narration to 1.3, the tempo worked for this super quick sexy novella about two ultra competitive former coeds who run into each other years later as successful business people. Alicia is still smarting from a perceived cheat move and brush off back in the day, so she figures this time around she’ll pull a fast one and take advantage of Travis’ hot bod. Only they keep coming back for more, each working hard to one up the other.
When the book is under two hours, you know what you’re getting: just enough story to get you to the good stuff. There were three scenes with a little kink (vibrator and mild bdsm). But this story went down surprisingly well. I will definitely look into other, hopefully longer books by this author.
