About this listen

Pussy Struck in the Land of Smiles is a series of diary entries which narrate some of Bangkok Byron’s most interesting, erotic, amusing (and sometimes harrowing) experiences in Thailand, and though the experiences they relate are disconnected, they are like beads on a thread – the thread being the story of how Bangkok Byron, after staggering boozed up from bar to bar and girl to girl, met a very special girl and had a relationship with her. These diaries are frank accounts of the author's experiences in LOS, and are more or less as they were written. In that sense they are, as it says on the cover, “unexpurgated”, however, they do not contain blow by blow descriptions of sexual encounters. What they do have, that many books in this genre don’t, is a detailed account of the author's thoughts and feelings, lists of rules, speculation about whether the rules work, or whether it is better to go with the flow, and a continual battle between an evolutionary attraction to younger girls, and the knowledge that an older woman will be more giving – all of which results in the gradual emergence of a new philosophy of life and love.
