This author has written an intriguing multi-genre romance. Valerio and Selena start as strangers to lovers, become enemies to lovers, then are in an arranged marriage. When it all comes together it's truly explosive. Oh, did I mention there's a murder to solve too? Make no mistake, this romance is a royal flush to the heart.

The Prologue tells you all you need to know about the heat level. Valerio Royal is a billionaire playboy and he and his brothers own an island for anonymity and to indulge in their fantasies. There are rumors and instinct that their business is
in trouble of a hostile takeover, so to help save his family's business, his father told him that he should enter into a marriage
with the competition's daughter. Selena is a good girl in bad girl's clothing, and she texts the wrong number only to get a "hot one" on the line. Their conversation quickly turns steamy and Valerio's shocked because no woman has had his attention
that fast. From that point, the story is Valerio and Selena finding out that they are the "competition,"destined to fall in love and unite in a "fake" marriage. The mystery of the hostile takeover of the business takes a murderous turn rather quickly. It's Selena who cracks the case, but not before everything goes wrong. The ending is a little rushed, but is perfectly happy.
The narration is excellent by Skylar Morgan. His dynamic, well-paced voice gives life, personality and attitude to each of the characters.

The three Royal brothers, each delicious, and each beautifully defined! Valerio, this story’s leading man, strong and secure in himself, but with a history … one I won’t spoil here, just know it made this listener want to hold him close. Selena, our leading lady, strong, smart, and willful … she had me in her corner from go, and there I stayed throughout! When her friends issued a challenge … this spunky gal had me laughing out loud! The rest … well, just grab this one and listen already! You won’t be disappointed! In the interest of full disclosure … I felt every emotion there is to feel as I listened, fully immersed in this beautifully plotted story! I’d come to know and care for Selena, Valerio, their friends and families! I binge listened, on edge, I had to know … WHO was responsible, was everything going to be okay … were THEY going to be okay … would the “nasties” get “their’s”! I HAD to know! But I’m not telling! No way am I spoiling this magic for anyone! Speaking of magic, I think our narrator has a magic wand instead of a microphone! This performance is pure sultry smooth perfection! Every spoken word beautifully conveying both feelings and emotions! Vocal inflections clearly identifying characters, male AND female! The timing and flow smooth, allowing for the seamless combining of scene setting with dialogue to bring the authors stunning vision to beautiful realistic life! Five wow, wow, WOW stars! Valerio Royal and his two younger brothers have been made billionaires, by not only their fathers, but also their own hard work. But due to the troubles of the past, Valerio swears he will not fall in love, but is that possible after receiving an odd text, and then texting with the person almost all night.

Selena knew spending the evening with her friends at the upscale bar wasn't the best idea, but hoped it would keep them from talking about her change in careers. Of course it didn't, and one of them even bet her she could find her a handsome, caring and loving man. Accepting the bet, her friend brought her a phone number a few days later, of which she texted.

The relationship they build over texting, finally meeting, and a suggestion made by his father along the way is the just the beginning of the story. Valerio and his family are devastated by a family death, as Selena is pushed away by her family and learns a secret that had been kept from her and Valerio.

I won't give away any more secrets but, it's such a good ending you must read/listen to this book. I personally loved this book, and can't wait for the second and third books in the trilogy, I'm literally chewing my nails off debating if I should buy them right now!

Royal Mistake by Pipper Stone is a sexy and alpha male kind of story. Skyler Morgan did an amazing job on the narration. She brought a whole new perspective on the story. The story is entertaining, romantic, kinky, funny and enjoyable. It has a little bit of BDSM in it but not too bad.Valerio Royal is an alpha male and always gets what he wants. he more or less he kidnaps the main character, force her to marry him. Will their love turn out to be true? Or will she try to run away? Listen to find out. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The twists and turns keeped me hooked and addicted to every word, I am glad I listened to this ! Raw, gritty, intense and highly spicy. It will leave you questioning your sanity in the best way possible. Dark, disturbing and oh so wonderful ...
