About this listen

A young dragon prince is forced to choose between the call of his heart and the duty to his crown.

Once in a generation, the dragon kingdoms are called upon to offer their finest prince to remain celibate and compete for the betrothal of the future Empress. Plucked from obscurity, dragon princes Uzzin and Razzan vie to become the Chosen Prince of their kingdom. Amid the competition, Razzan's heart is captured by an alluring and mysterious drake while facing the trials of maturity in a palace awash with tantalizing princesses. Will he navigate his burgeoning desires, a deadly rival, and a clandestine love, or will temptation be his downfall?

This novel contains many explicit and erotic scenes involving dragons and drakes, not humans or shifters. Additionally, there are a few scenes with intense violence. Mature audiences only.

A Book Dragons! Story and Spice!

This, was the exact book I was looking for when it comes to Fantasy and Mythical Creatures! As well as being written for adults with plenty of spice and tension at times.

Even for a book with adult content it never forgot about the lore and world and kept it. The characters were introduced well, and I enjoy many of them throughout the story. Even the ones I never expected to enjoy caught my heart by the end of it.

Narrator did amazing work! Was perfect for switching between characters, and being able to tell them apart perfectly. Many male voice actors/readers can struggle separating the female characters when performing but Chase did a great job for sure!

And the theory I had nearing the end was exactly what I was hoping for! I am very eager for more from this writer and even more so from this series!

Lovely book

Honestly I loved this book and I can’t wait for us to see more of this character, however I started listening to book two and was sincerely disappointed, when I came to understand it was going to be what amounts to a remake of the first book with a different dragon faction and we weren’t forewarned of this fact in the first book. Now honestly these are just my personal thoughts as I haven’t listened to the full book two but just the first few chapters, I even fell asleep listen to it. So it seams the author intends for us to get close to multiple characters from different factions, and is either going to end it all in a desperate climatic fight to the death, or what would be equal to a brawl for the princess who is just playing sick games with her potential partners, now one other option comes to mind either the dragons will realize this is happening and rebel as in seek to withdraw from the contest out of disgust or be so in raged that they would attempt to refuse to give the queen and princess what they want. Honestly I can see why the current emperor acts the way he does, as it is eluded to in this book *spoilers* (does not fulfill his role for doing the nasty)

Worth the read

I went in pretty skeptical, as I do with most titles, and was pleasantly surprised to find an enjoyable book. The sex and flirting, while fun, isn't the main focus of the story, it's just a part of the world. I didn't enjoy the ending as much, as there were many things the protagonist could have or should have said or asked. It was clear it was designed with a specific outcome in mind which was sort of forced into place, but it wasn't enough to ruin my experience. The characters were all enjoyable in their own ways, and it was refreshing to see some that felt initially one-note evolve into something complex. The dragons also behave like dragons, which is also something that doesn't usually happen in dragon books. Anyway, pick this up if you like dragon stories and dragon sex.

Great narration, fun story

The narrator did an absolutely amazing job with the vocal range. The book had moments that are less interesting, but the second half of the book just feels expertly done. Grief and loss are fully explored and trauma is examined expertly. I absolutely loved the second half of this story.
