About this listen

What would you do for $100,000?

Tallulah Daniels has been contacted by the mysterious Society. A $100,000 prize is hers if she can survive 12 hours in the abandoned fairgrounds. It should be easy for a horror movie buff to spend her Halloween being scared by actors.

It turns out to be more than jump scares and costume makeup. She's trapped in a sensual nightmare and pushed to her limits. When quitting isn't an option, will the seductive Lucien turn out to be friend or foe as Tallulah attempts to elude her masked hunters?

Scream at the Fair is a tantalizing blend of horror and spice. This why choose novella is intended for readers 18+ includes triggers. It is part of a series, NOT a standalone.

Great narrators

The narrators did amazing! Branden's emotion was palpable. E.M. did great at keeping all the male voices different and consistent. Together, they're perfect! I'm not a fan of third person, but the narrators helped keep all the characters straight for me. It's a fun and short audio to listen to!

Amazing performances!

The story itself was good but not anything I hadn’t necessarily seen or heard before, but what made this was the performances by the voice actors - they did such a great job! Definitely had me liking this more than if I had just read it on my own.

Oh my

The narrators did an incredible job keeping this story interesting. It doesn’t disappoint either! 🥵 this normally isn’t my type of book but wow. 🤯 I’m so glad I took the dive and decided to listen to it.
Impatiently waiting for the next book.

Narration brought this book to life!!

What an amazing performance by EM Wilde and Branden Davis-Butler!! They truly brought the story to life! Quick read with a great storyline considering it’s a short novella! I’m looking forward to more!

Short & Smutty!

I enjoyed this quick little read! The story writing and narration were all really good! I also love reads that takes place at fairs carnivals etc!! Great for a quick pallet cleanser or something to help get ya out of a reading slump!!

BRANDEN & E.M. ARE THE HOTTEST PAIRING FOR 2024!

📖 Let's start with the story. The writing itself was just ok, but I probably would've DNFd it if I'd been reading a physical copy. I'm not a big fan of the 3rd person point of view; most of us aren't. Some scenes need more writing because they go so fast that they give you whiplash and can be hard to keep up with. More thought needs to be put into the development and flow of the story. Give us depth. Give us emotion. Give us SOMETHING. GIVE US MORE!

⚠️ If you cringe at terms like "wet channel," "mound," or "tight bud," prepare yourself. I love good smut as much as the next person, but there's some interesting terminology that took me out of the story. Again, I was able to get beyond this because the way the narrators acted it all out with one another was hot! 🔥 Their chemistry together is off the charts. 📈

About the audio:

The incredible performances by Branden Davis-Butler and E.M. Wylde truly set the audiobook apart. Their narration adds a new dimension to the story, giving us everything we weren't getting from the words on the page.

Branden's performance is nothing short of stellar. She masterfully conveys the subtle nuances of Tallullah's emotions, from vulnerability to moments of strength. Her pacing is smooth, and the ability to shift between different tones—whether in moments of tension, tenderness, or humor—feels natural and seamless. You feel connected to the character’s journey, as though you’re experiencing every high and low alongside her.

E.M. handles all the other male characters brilliantly, bringing an entirely different yet equally captivating energy. His voice embodies Lucian and all the other guys, delivering the dialogue with an authenticity that makes you believe these individuals exist. Whether it's conveying sarcasm, sorrow, or moments of introspection, E.M's performance is dynamic and emotionally engaging.

Now, let's get to the good stuff, shall we? Branden and E.M. together are 🔥 H.O.T. ❤️‍🔥 I've enjoyed the works they've done separately. But together, they make worlds collide. 🌎 ☄️ God, I hope the author keeps using the same narrators for the whole series because you will not find a hotter-sounding couple. As an avid audiobook listener, I would know. Like I said, the chemistry between them is palpable.

Branden & E.M. are my new one-click pairings, and I need more of them asap. AUTHORS, YOU NEED THESE TWO DOING YOUR BOOKS! I NEED MORE OF THESE TWO IN MY LIFE ❤️‍🔥

Just a suggestion, but they -the 2 of them- should start a Patreon so we can hear them together more often. I don't even care what they read together, just so long as we can all revel in it. These are the voices I'll be dreaming of every night. 🥵 🫠

rules are there are no rules

Win some money, all Tallulah has to do is survive 12 hours in an abandoned fair - where ZERO rules apply (check TWs) the plot is spice with a twisted ending, brb, about to go into a rabbit hole of spicy depravity to get some answers…

A Spicy Nightmare You Can’t Escape

No spoilers review

If you’re searching for a mix of horror, suspense, and spice, Scream at the Fair is a must-listen. Cristina Lollabrigida delivers an electrifying novella that hooks you from the first moment and doesn’t let go until its haunting, cliffhanger ending.

This story is not for the faint of heart—it’s pitch black and deliciously taboo.

The audiobook’s narration takes the experience to an entirely new level. Branden Davis-Butler and E.M. Wylde deliver stellar performances, capturing every ounce of anxiety, sensuality, and danger in the story. E.M Wylde’s portrayal of Lucien is spine-tingling and magnetic, while Branden Davis-Butler perfectly embodies Tallulah’s fear, resilience, and inner turmoil. Together, their chemistry creates an immersive experience that heightens the emotional depth and spicy intensity. (Be sure to add both of these narrators to your favorites list! )
While the novella leaves some questions unanswered, this only adds to the intrigue of the series and will leave you eagerly anticipating Book 2.

Perfect for fans of dark romance and thrillers, this audiobook is an absolute treat—whether you’re in the mood for a spooky listen or a steamy escape from reality. Just be sure to check the content warnings before diving in!

Highly recommended for those who love their spice with a side of danger.

great narration

loved the duet narration. if you can call this a story, it was 95% smut, maybe 5% plot with a weird twist at the end. supposedly will be a series with more books, which I hope will help flesh out what actually just happened, because I'm confused.
