Not what I expected
Don Warrick, Wow!! what a voice, a new narrator to my ears. His voice draws you in and surrounds you.
Told in 2 person point of view, not at all your typical dark romance but, it was hard to stop listening.
Vampires and Demons and the sweetest boy living life as a girl.
Dark and Sorrowful, with a savior vampire "Cain" and "yue-ren", sweet and so pure. Life in the Opera House, a mother who never loved him and so many twists and turns.
I hope there will be a second book, there is so much more I need to know.
No where near as much sex as usual dark romances but, the narrator made the story flow and kept me interested. I say, it's well worth the credit and your time to listen.

Dark and interesting!
Don Warrick is a new to me narrator and I absolutely loved his audio delivery and narration.
The tone of the story was borderline dark and I found the storyline to be fairly interesting.
The characters were likeable and well fleshed out and the author's writing style worked for me.
An enjoyable listen overall.

Interesting
Song of the Night by Zoe Burgess and narrated by Don Warrick delivered an interesting and entertaining experience. I closed my eyes and let the story wrap me up in its arms and show me the universe created within this story. I appreciated how listeners were allowed to view certain events from multiple points of view... same event but from a different character allowed me to get to know the characters better, how they thought, how they felt, the relationships they built. I enjoyed the journey - the paranormal aspect....the moments of love....the loss, sorrow, and pain...the wreckage. I only wish I knew if there would be a followup book after the ending we get... I would definitely read it.
