As a young maiden in a small village, Vanya was expected to act a certain way. No longer could she run out into the fields or accompany men on their hunts. She was expected to stay within the confines of the village. So, when the opportunity to go along with a few men on an ermine hunt presents itself, she quickly jumps on the opportunity.

Canandra, a young witch from the snowbound north, eagerly seeks out new knowledge and experiences. Despite her considerable power, her Elders decree that she must go on a spiritual quest. Sent deep into the fiery southern desert, Canandra battles loneliness and the burning sun until she catches sight of a gryphon on the wing. When the gryphon begins to hunt her, Canandra realizes that there is no place to run.

At most circuses you get your standard fare, clowns, acrobats, and the usual rides and games. However an oddity circus gives you just a little bit more. Oddity circuses are known for their amazing shows that leave their audiences breathless. Every act is as amazing as the last and each one leaves you screaming for more.

Johanna didn't want to go out in the early spring morning, but her brother insisted that he make a cake for them both. So, being a good sister, she went to the forest to collect berries. Once she finished her task, she crossed the bridge to get back home, just like she'd done scores of times before. Except this time, she comes face to face with a large, gangly troll.
