Publisher's summary

I hate this place.

Not that my life on Najarie was great, but at least I didn’t have a beastly alien trying to sex me up all the time. And when I say all the time, I mean all the freaking time.

I haven’t forgotten Earth or the loved ones I’ve left behind. In fact, I’m willing to use any means necessary to get back to them. However, when the alien that claimed me offers to help in exchange for my body I find myself torn.

Either I’m nothing more than a breeder to him or he’s trying to find a way to persuade me to stay. And I’ll just say if that’s the case, his method is working...

*It is not necessary, but highly recommended that the series be enjoyed in order. Please note this series is a spin off from The House of Kaimar.

  1. Chosen by a Beast (Makayla & Jaxar)
  2. Tamed by a Beast (Scarlett & Draal)
  3. Seduced by a Beast (Jeanine & Belvaire)
  4. Taken by a Beast

Good Book

I enjoyed the book, but the main character low key got under my skin sometimes. I love Draal, I thought he was wonderful, but I must say sometimes I find it a annoying how the guys are always wrong and has to apologize. If they can create the characters to know exactly how to dick the female characters down, why do they always have to be the ones who mess up. Yet they make the female characters so damn annoying, just rambling. Good book!

Great Narration, Hero, and Story

This hero is to die for. He is so sensual and caring yet an alpha for sure. Perfect! The narration is amazing. Rachel Music is now one of my favorites. The heroine is a little annoying. While her plight and thoughts are understandable, she just needs to grow up. When a woman has a good man who’d give his life for her and keeps her satisfied in the hay, it’s time to stop whining about missing your sister. She makes a decision or two that are foolish. That always annoys me in any novel. If you’re going to be strong, be smart not foolish! But this is a great story. Miranda Bridges is one of the best in the genre at giving a great romance encompassed by a bigger story.

Australian here. Ears are bleeding.

Please, please don’t let narrators do Australian or New Zealand accents. I would return this book but paid cash not a credit So will just cost me more money. Loved the first book, can’t even tell you what this is about. My ears are bleeding. So sorry just no.

My twin! My twin! Grrr!

I like this author. She tells a good story. I love the male lead character. He's insightful, emotionally strong and male any woman would be lucky to have. The female lead, however, makes me want to punch her. She is way too obsessed about getting back to her twin sister back on Earth. To her that is more important than anything else. Her 'struggle' is that she's starting to feel strongly for her lover and longs for her future child but won't get over her desire to be with her sister. Twin or not, I can't imagine even considering abandoning your child to be with your sibling. Can't respect this female lead and that makes it hard to enjoy this book fully.
