About this listen
Do you believe in love at first sight? This author focuses on that as the main theme throughout The Country Wife. The main character gets stranded, and that experience ends up changing his life forever. He ends up dealing with feelings that he never had to deal with before, and he learns how to be patient and bide his time. He also learns what a submissive woman is like. Love is never ever found where it is expected, and sometimes the strangest occurrences can lead to a permanent love connection. This book delves into all of that and more.

Love at first blush
This oldie is actually a novella length love story, spiced with a sensual, erotic first encounter, with blushing on all cheeks, and ending with her 'first time', also an extended erotic vignette, and wedding bells in an order you will discover.
The narration could be much better, for both male and female voice.

Slow, bland
Too much vanilla foreplay, not enough spanking. Yawn. I wanted tears, pain, the whole 9 yards. I got 30 minutes into this 45 minute read and not a single asscheek has been slapped. Narrator does ok but inflection seems off in many of the passages.

I know it could have been worse.
It's a good thing it's short because it's hard to get through.
Siri could have narrated it better, but to be fair, the author didn't give the narrator much to work with. 😕
