I thought this book was generally “JUST OK”.
As far as romance….there is none. They don’t even try to get to know the heroine before basically forcing a lifetime commitment; even if it was partially of her own doing because she was eavesdropping/spying on them when they asked her wait.

Also, the LF was honestly the most jaded and argumentative character I’ve seen in a long time. I almost turned it into.

Lastly, the narrator, as a professional that reads books for a living should honestly know how to correctly pronounce the words they are reading. There are an unusually large number of words I cringed at when the narrator used the incorrect pronunciation.
