About this listen

His blood. His soul. His body. Hers for the asking.

In the vampire world, a human servant is given only one choice; whether to become a servant or not. After that, all choices - and the servant himself - belong entirely to the chosen vampire. Jacob, an alpha male and former vampire hunter, is unaccustomed to submitting to any woman's wishes, but Lady Lyssa needs him. A thousand-year-old vampire queen, she is besieged by enemies, and haunted by past losses. Jacob may be the only soul she can trust. Together they will discover a shared history that reaches back through the centuries, and a love that will change their destiny.

Best Vampire book of our time!

I have read this book back in 2007 when it was released and it still blows me away! Ms. Hill has a master craft with her stories and goes so deep that you hang on her every word. The Vampire Queens servant is the first of many novels in this genre. She keeps the story alive with her characters, you cannot wait for the next book. Thank the goddess, you can get them on paper back.
The audible version is just the beginning of this story. It gives you a better way to listen to the book. The narrator was good. She just needs to do a better voice for Jacob. Keira Grace, is to do the next book as well. I cannot wait to hear Lord Mason, sigh,
The Vampire Queens Servant, is as it's title, It gives you great insight of vampire society and their servants. How they live and how the servant or servants have to live in the Vampires world. The Vampire's power over their servants and the submission of their servants. Great book,

great story

I almost quit reading because the narrator was not so great but I'm happy I kept going! narrator grows on you a bit. This book is good but book 3 is my favorite! sadly, not available in audio book but if you buy it on the google books app it will read it to you. obviously not as good as having a narrator but it works for me since I can't see well enough to read. the further into the serries you get the better it gets! a very sexual book lol so if you're not into that then this book isn't for you.

A Vampire Series Like No Other! ❤️❤️❤️

Although I read The Vampire Queen series long ago I have waited an eternity to enjoy the experience of listening to the stories to be brought to life through narration. As agonizing and frustrating as the wait has been it’s been well worth the patience! The Vampire Queen series is unlike any vampire dark and overwhelmingly erotic storyline you will ever enjoy and will find immediately all consuming. If you are seeking a trite and ridiculously long overdone lightheaded and predictable vampire romance with sweetness and light romance you will quickly and unexpectedly find this book sucking you into a darkly depraved world completely and unexpectedly surprising although unspeakably enthralling direction filled with unbelievably extremely dark and steamy hot erotic scenes! Perhaps you’re likely not expecting the intensity if you are not familiar with the the series. Perhaps you are. The darkness of the story makes it difficult to see a few characters as either good or bad but all intriguing. While Joey’s books, particularly this series, have easily made her my favorite author by far, I can easily and honestly assure any who read this series that it is not biased that compelled my adamant endorsement of this storyline. Rather it is the uniqueness of her ability to be unique and an outstandingly talented writer (in a trope that’s been beaten to death and become boringly predictable flooded with snooze -worthy and repetitive vampire romance expectations) with the phenomenal talent of writing that easily draws you in as if you live in the darkly twisted world of Lady Lyssa and Jacob. Theirs is a dangerous and extremely dangerous path to negotiate and it’s questionable if even one will survive or let alone if others are able to walk the same razors edge. I can’t think of a book/listen more worthy of purchase! Don’t miss out!!!

The narrator was not what I was expecting so I did struggle a bit against my preconceived expectations at first but it didn’t much time at all to get used to my presumptively unexpected narrator and found Keira Grace did a wonderful job. My only suggestion would be that she work more on her male voices. Still worth downloading this book and if you don’t I feel sad for all the creativeness and enjoyment you will be deprived of.
