The narrator was a bit monotone and there were some places where inflection and emotion would have been impactful (not looking for dramatization, just some intonation).

However; this was a fantastic introduction to the series. Looking forward to more to come!

The concept is there, but it feels a little underdeveloped. There are some good aspects, but the overall story would have benefited from working with an editor. The narrator did a nice job of reading the story and helped to develop the emotion and to drive the story forward.

A captivating debut that masterfully blends magic and mystery. The story follows Anna Thorne on an enthralling journey through a richly imagined world. Dubree's storytelling is both intricate and emotional, with well-developed characters and surprising plot twists.

Kat Renée’s narration in the audiobook version enhances the experience, bringing the story to life with expressive and well-paced delivery.

This book is a must-listen for fantasy lovers and sets a high bar for future installments in the Otherworlds Anthology.

The story definitely surprised me, the combination of the fantasy elements were unique from what I’ve read in the past, I enjoyed the mix! The combination of the realms and travel between them was cool, and I loved the inclusivity. Audiobook performance was awesome, the multitude of characters each felt fresh and were easy to tell apart from each other! Can’t wait for the next book!
