“knight in shining armor” novella

I enjoyed the novella. Events develop fast between the MCs, one delicious older brother type extends himself to Alex. Alex is an isolated, lonely young foster system survivor Who is dealing with his BFF’s recent death after a lifetime of battling last.
I’m sick of the Gay romance trope of former foster kid, survivor of childhood deprivation and homelessness. Authors please don’t use this hackneyed crutch in place of creativity.

great short story

Not much development, but it's a short story, so that's fine. Title and cover art are misleading.
