About this listen

In a magical kingdom far away, there lived cursed princes, warrior women, and powerful heroes. This is a sexy genderswapped retelling of the classic Cinderella fairy tale where the heroes have become heroines, the heroines have become heroes, and nothing is as it seems.

Eliot is sexy, sensitive, and smart. He is also tired of scrubbing floors for his bullying older brothers. While they scheme for more social power, Eliot dreams of attending Queen Cassandra's Gathering, an elite soiree for only the most sexually skilled, and meeting the woman of his dreams.

Perhaps he's already met her. Kind and lovely Amelia is Eliot's brothers' most overworked servant. But when her good intentions are rewarded with violence, she's forced to flee and take a job at the palace under the eye of the gorgeous and powerful Queen Cassandra.

As lust...and perhaps something more...begins to kindle between Amelia and the Queen, does Eliot still have a chance?

In this polyamorous tale of seduction, liberation, and intoxicating strangers, even the humblest of peasants has a shot with the queen if she so wills.

Hot and steamy

Would you listen to What the Queen Wills: A Genderswapped Cinderella Retelling again? Why?

This is a really hot book. I can only think of one other author that can write Erotica this well Anne Rice. I was very impressed with AJ Tipton with this one.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Eliot he only interested in making his women happy. He really does a great job with the listener also. LOL

Which character – as performed by Audrey Lusk – was your favorite?

Amelia she is a very lovable character in the book. I love how she works it out to rescue Eliot from the male point of view of Cinderella.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

XXX Eliot-derella

Any additional comments?

Amelia stole my heart when she 1st fools around with Eliot and tells him that there is nothing wrong with him at all. No he is really smoking hot and well equipped. Than she helps get him to the castle to meet the queen. Even though he doesn't know it. He really meets the queen and steals her heart so to speak.

His problem

His problem is not so much of a problem after all. He just has jealous brothers. A HEA for this book for at least 3 of the characters.

A VERY kinky Cinderella story.....................

What the Queen Wills is a very raunchy sort of fairy tale in which our Cinderella is a man abused by his brothers, his fairy godmother is a fellow servant (with whom he has sex), and his prince charming is a queen with the title of she who comes long and hard. Luckily, AJ Tipton can write some truly passionate sex scenes because this book is more sex than story. However, she also brings in some action and some absolutely delightful humor that save this story from being erotica alone. Overall, I enjoyed this book, and I would be interested in reading additional books in the series to see what crazy twists Tipton can bring to another classic fairy tale.

Audrey Lusk's narration is good. I don't care for her voice, but that is a matter of personal taste. She delivers a flawless performance and differentiates well between male and female characters, so she is obviously a talented narrator.

What the Queen Wills

I had a hard time getting into this book because of the narrator, Audrey Lusk. I think I will avoid all books narrated by her. I will try again at a later date. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review

Narration was awkward and eewy

Narration is blerg. At first I thought Elliot's nasal voice was due to his having an injury to his nose but it never got better, and it was embarrassing in the sex scene. I did not find Amelia all that "pure and good" either Had to quit.

Didn't get far enough to see the Cinderella part of the story.
