Cynthia Dixon is a native Floridian born with a hearing loss, which was finally diagnosed when she was 11 years old. She is a Librarian with experience in public and academic libraries. Her recent involvement with ALDA (Association of Late-Deafened Adults) FL - Suncoast Chapter, has brought her face-to-face with many people who have similar life experiences. She has finally met her "tribe."
