Story
Thirty years ago, Wilde was found as a boy living feral in the woods, with no memory of his past. Now an adult, he still doesn't know where he comes from, and another child has gone missing. No one seems to take Naomi Pine's disappearance seriously, not even her father - with one exception. Hester Crimstein, a television criminal attorney, knows through her grandson that Naomi was relentlessly bullied at school. Hester asks Wilde - with whom she shares a tragic connection - to use his unique skills to help find Naomi.

Great new characters to love and hate. I riveting story. Love the narrator's inflections. Definitely worth the wait.

Story
“Since I was a little girl I’ve been labeled a freak in my small town. There’s no blending in when your mom practices an ancient pagan religion and everyone believes she’s a witch. On my 15th birthday my secret wish is the same as always - to just be normal. But that’s not what I get. Not even close". Instead, Brigit is shocked to learn she’s descended from a legendary Celtic tribe. A spellbound audiobook of family history reveals the magical powers of her ancestors. Powers that could be hers - if only she wanted them.

Worth a listen even if you've read it before.

I enjoyed listening to this book. I read it before and was curious how a performer would handle so many different voices. Her Irish accents were unique to each character and time period.
