Story
In his first major work since The Universal Christ, one of our most prominent spiritual voices offers a wholehearted and hope-filled model for the world today, grounded in the timeless wisdom of the Hebrew prophets. How do we live compassionately in a time of violence and despair? What can we do with our private disappointments and the anger we feel in such an unjust world? In his most personal book yet, Richard Rohr turns to the writings of the Jewish prophets, revealing how some of the lesser-read books of the Bible offer us a crucial path forward today.

Heen Gru-Bares has been SERIES 5 for most of his adult life, traveling from planet to planet collecting data and filing reports for the CHAIRS, who run the universe. And then he lands on the planet Firdus for his next assignment, and he meets Borns and Lan Zing and Ziga Mey and Dill Tudd, and something unsettling begins to stir within him, something unnerving and profoundly disruptive.

Fun meaningful story, somewhat amateurishly read by the author.

Experiential story telling

I love everything about this book. So much heart. It’s like looking around the corner to possibility all whilst giving space for the hard stuff. A journey of learning to be in the now. Bell’s storytelling is brilliant, childlike, full of wonder, unedited brilliance. Full of heart.

Abiding Jesus—energetic presence

What a gift to hear what Cynthia Bourgeault has to share about this wisdom way of knowing. So much of what she says resonates with much of my experience of Jesus. An invitation to abide and learn bit by bit to let go.

Story
The Enneagram is one of the most robust and informative tools for investigating some of the deeper layers of the self, yet the full power of it is not always taught. Leading scholar Russ Hudson teaches, “Too often, the Enneagram is viewed as a set of simple personality types that lock us into fixed ideas about ourselves. In reality, it’s a dynamic tool for transformation.” With The Enneagram: Nine Gateways to Presence, Hudson shares an in-depth audio training on how to use this powerful system the way it was originally intended.

The narrator's voice is lovely. That being said I was looking forward to hearing Brené Brown narrate the book. I'm glad I listen to this one on Audible I don't know that I could've gotten through it by reading it. It was so helpful and is helping me in my continued journey of shame resilience. Thank you! Me too moments are gold.
