Story
Valoree no longer has to masquerade as her murdered brother and scour the oceans as Captain Red. She no longer has to command his pirate band in a quest to regain his birthright. She has been named heir to Ainsley Castle. But no executor would ever hand over the estate to an unmarried pirate wench and her infamous crew - no matter to whom she'd been born. And the will distinctly states that in order to inherit, Valoree must be married to a nobleman...and pregnant.

You can tell by the style of writing for this book that this was early work of Lyndsay sands. when it was slow it was very slow, and when it was exciting it was great. the balance made this book average.

I am one of those readers that's been with Miss Beverly Jenkins from the beginning. I even came to reading when she was in Flint Michigan at the library and I have a picture with her. her books have never failed to educate me on history of our people, and weave a story to incorporate love and romance for African Americans everywhere. I'm just a big old fan.

Story
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

Story
What kind of mail-order bride greets her intended with a bullet instead of a kiss? One like Regan Carmichael - an independent spirit equally at home in denims and dresses. Shooting Dr. Colton Lee in the shoulder is an honest error, but soon Regan wonders if her entire plan to marry a man she's never met is a mistake. Colton, who buried his heart along with his first wife, insists he only wants someone to care for his daughter. Yet Regan is drawn to the unmistakable desire in his gaze.

Great story, the narrator was really good. There are times where I did not want to turn it off so that I could sleep. The story of Regan and Colt was very romantic, it had just enough steam to keep me interested & the storyline was very intriguing. I will definitely recommend the story to anyone who would like to listen.

this book has the right amount of ebb and Flow. I love how it shows how a mystery crime writer started off as a young girl being mentored by her father, to the woman she became entered by many great men in her life. It show how talented she was regardless of her gender that she could do the job of a man. I love how this story rose, and I hate it when it ended great book must read
