Since aging out of the foster-care system and becoming a nurse, all I dreamed of was marrying a nice doctor and moving to a yellow two-story house in the suburbs. So how did a dangerous biker-gang criminal end up handcuffed to my bed? And why did I agree to let that animal teach me how to...ahem...do things? Wicked things. In the very same bed he’s been handcuffed to in order to keep me safe? Long story. And it didn’t end well. Now it’s time to marry my doctor fiancé and make all my former foster kid dreams come true.

Not her best work.

I like book 1 but book 2 was just a Jamestown Stockholm syndrome romance. I didn't feel any romantic chemistry between them.
however if this was a pure thriller it would been a solid 4 stars. the was a fun and enjoyable listen hands down but I can't get over the way it ended. it felt very flat for a romance.
and as usual, clementine dove was amazing as narrator.
