Awful narration

I can’t believe that no one on Ms Parker’s team was kind enough to tell her that she should not under any circumstance narrate her own book.
I made it through an hour and realized my shoulders were up around my neck. Listening to a book should be pleasurable, even if the story isn’t great
I can’t critique the story because I just could not stand another second of the narration.

I listen to about a book a day and I really tried to get beyond the narration of this one. I listened for over 3 hours and had to stop. The female sounded like a 7yr old and the male was whiny. Also, the vocabulary was nothing that a biker would use.
Take a walk in the sun, knit a cozy, heck, rob a bank! Anything but spend a penny or any time with this wast of time book.

Discovering who my dom was turned out to be life-changing. John wasn't just someone I knew, but someone I'd fantasized about. His sharply tailored suits, his delicious muscles, his hands on me. Finding out he'd actually been the one doing such naughty things to me when I'd been blindfolded was almost too much for me to handle, but he refused to let me run. Forced me to see that everything I could ever want was right in front of me.

There was very little substance to this book. Just one hot scene after another, which would have been okay if not for the ridiculous lack of editing and pitiful narration. The narrator has a good voice but seemed he had never read the book before. So many pronoun errors and mispronounced words that I wonder if English is not his first language.
This was a waste of a good credit.

It was a little scary how my body trembled and my breathing wouldn't return to normal. But I couldn't escape the intensity of our desire for each other - and how vibrant and alive he made me feel. Like I'd merely existed before. Gotten by. Now I was acutely aware of my surroundings. Of myself. Of him. Of every sensation blazing inside me....

The narrator read like she was mimicking Judy Garland's over the top performance in The Wizard of OZ. The sex was more than plentiful, but not particularly sexy.
