If you could sum up Rogue in Porcelain in three words, what would they be?
Very light read.
Would you recommend Rogue in Porcelain to your friends? Why or why not?
I enjoyed the book because I enjoy the series. Someone picking up this book first in the series probably would not return to the series.

Story
When Haven Kimmel was born in 1965, Mooreland, Indiana, was a sleepy little hamlet of 300 people. Nicknamed "Zippy" for the way she would bolt around the house, this small girl was possessed of big eyes and even bigger ears. In this witty and lovingly told memoir, Kimmel takes readers back to a time when small-town America was caught in the amber of the innocent postwar period - people helped their neighbors, went to church on Sunday, and kept barnyard animals in their backyards.

Not What I Expected

I thought this book would be much more entertaining than it is. An awful lot of this book is concerned with cancer. Not my idea of a lot of fun.

Story
Every time Bill Bryson walks out the door, memorable travel literature threatens to break out. His previous excursion on the Appalachian Trail resulted in the best seller A Walk in the Woods. Now, we follow him "Down Under" to Australia with this delectably funny, fact-filled, and adventurous performance that combines humor, wonder, and unflagging curiosity. More from Bill Bryson.

I enjoyed this book a lot. It isn't as laugh out loud funny as "A Walk in the Woods", but amusing and informative. The author's narration is excellent.
