Good story, distracting reader
Reviewed: 08-02-23
This story was very interesting but by the 6th episode I became frustrated with the reader’s inability to pronounce ‘r’. I tried to overlook the problem but a character named Ryan came in and there seemed to be an increasing number of words with ‘r’ in them. It was so distracting that I ultimately gave up and Googled Ed Buck to learn the outcome.

The House by the Sea is a gripping story read by a masterful narrator. The atmosphere of the Sicilian coast and villages and the villa and its grounds are captivating. And there are kittens!
