But when she comes home after yet another soul-sucking day to find an unfamiliar, gorgeous man camped out in her living room, focus is the last thing on her mind. Story
Korede is bitter. How could she not be? Her sister, Ayoola, is many things: the favorite child, the beautiful one, possibly sociopathic. And now Ayoola’s third boyfriend in a row is dead. Korede’s practicality is the sisters’ saving grace. She knows the best solutions for cleaning blood, the trunk of her car is big enough for a body, and she keeps Ayoola from posting pictures of her dinner to Instagram when she should be mourning her “missing” boyfriend. Not that she gets any credit. Korede has long been in love with a kind, handsome doctor at the hospital where she works.

Story
Gracie Reed is doing just fine. Sure, she was fired by her overly “friendly” boss, and yes, she still hasn’t gotten her mother into the nursing home of their dreams, but she’s healthy, she’s (somewhat) happy, and she’s (mostly) holding it all together. But when a mysterious SUV pulls up beside her, revealing Chinese cinema's golden couple Wei Fangli and Sam Yao, Gracie’s world is turned on its head. The famous actress has a proposition: Due to their uncanny resemblance, Fangli wants Gracie to be her stand-in.

Decent, easy, predictable listen.. The inner workings of the main character, Gracie, annoyed me so much. Perhaps it was because I had predicted the outcomes, so I lost my patience with Gracies constant self doubt, anxious and irrational thought patterns. Or the book could've been shorter. haven't decided.

Simon and Caroline have it all. A gorgeous restored Victorian house in Sausalito, flourishing careers, an eternal spark for each other, and a cat with more attitude than is legal in the state of California. So what’s plaguing the couple of the century? They’ve got everything anyone could wish for, except...a family.

Pretty bad

I can't decipher if it's the story or the narrator but the level of cheesiness was cringeworthy. I understand having a creative sequence of events but vulgarity that began in middle of a life or death crisis was slightly disturbing. I forced myself to finish the book because I'm not a quitter and it had potential but never reached it.

Decent story but the female narration needed work. Especially when she was narrating the male character.

Take a shot everytime you hear "is dead "

Story dragged on for too long and was anticlimactic. I found the constant repotition of so and so "is dead" to be redundant.

Story
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.
